IISRP Elects President-International for 2025 - 2026

Texas, April 22, 2025 - The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers, Inc. (IISRP) elected Mr. Douglas Wilson as its President-International for the year 2025 – 2026 at the association’s 65th Annual General Meeting on April 9, 2025. In his new role, he replaces Mr. Zhuang Yi of Sinopec, who became the Institute's Past-President International.

Douglas Wilson is currently the General Manager of the Americas business for LCY Elastomers LP, with P&L responsibility for all aspects of LCY’s Styrenic Block Copolymer business in North and South America, including the Baytown SBS manufacturing operation.

Prior to joining LCY in 2023, Doug was Global Business Director for the Polyether Sulfones, Citrates, and Additives business for Vertellus (now Aurorium) for 5 years after a 22-year career with Honeywell International. At Honeywell, Doug was Global Business Leader for two different businesses. First, he led Honeywell’s Nylon-based film and active resins business supplying materials for food and industrial packaging and composites.

He later led Honeywell’s Research Chemicals business, including the integration of a $120M acquisition. Douglas began his career at Honeywell in various manufacturing engineering roles including the startup of a greenfield fluoropolymer unit, his first introduction into the world of polymer chemistry, a place he now calls home.

In addition to Mr. Wilson, the other members elected to the Institute Executive Committee for the year 2025 – 2026 are:

• Mr. Masayoshi Iwasa of Asahi Kasei Corporation, President of the Asia Pacific Section and member of the FPAC.
• Mr. Giovanni Cassuti of Versalis, EMEA Section Vice-President.
• Mr. Brian Chapman of Kuraray Americas, Member of the FPAC.
• Mr. Shiga Satoru of ENEOS Materials, Vice-President of the Asia Pacific Section.
• Mr. Robert Rikhoff of Lion Elastomers, President of the Americas Section
• Mr. Zhuang Yi of Sinopec, past President-International
• Ms. Roxanna Petrovic of IISRP, Managing Director, Assistant Treasurer, and Recording Secretary.
