Houston, Texas, April 27, 2026 - The International Institute of Synthetic RubberProducers, Inc. (IISRP) elected Mr. Satoru Shiga as its President-International for theyear 2026 – 2027 at the association’s 66th Annual General Meeting on April 15,2026. In his new role, he replaces Mr. Douglas Wilson of LCY, who became theInstitute's Past-President International.

He began his career in 1993 as a chemical engineer at Nippon Oil Corporation (apredecessor of ENEOS), building a strong technical foundation in refineryoperations. Over the course of his career, he has held a range of leadership roles intechnical planning, corporate strategy, and governance within the ENEOS Group.

In 2024, he was appointed Senior Executive Officer at ENEOS Corporation,overseeing corporate planning, strategic investments, carbon neutrality strategy,overseas business development, and biofuels.

Since April 2025, he has been serving as President and Representative Director ofENEOS Materials Corporation, leading global business operations and advancingstrategic growth initiatives. He holds a master’s degree in chemical engineeringfrom the University of Tokyo.

In addition to Mr. Shiga, the other members elected to the Institute ExecutiveCommittee for the year 2026 – 2027 are:

  • Mr. Bhavesh Pande, Vice-President of the Asia Pacific Section and member ofthe FAC.
  • Mr. Douglas Wilson of LCY, President of the Americas Section & formerPresident-International
  • Mr. Manfredi Manutelli of Versalis, EMEA Section Vice-President
  • Mr. Brian Chapman of Kuraray Americas, Member of the FAC.
  • Ms. Roxanna Petrovic of IISRP, Managing Director, Assistant Treasurer, andRecording Secretary.
